Fund tokenisation, from issuance to settlement.
One regulated provider for issuance, investor services and wallets. Your fund runs on one authoritative register instead of five reconciled copies, inside the fund law you already operate under, with no restructuring and no new licence.
ILLUSTRATIVE REGISTER VIEW
We hold your fund's share register on-chain, and run everything for investors that depends on it.
One provider, two authorisations, and the four things an investor’s money actually passes through: issuance, orders, safekeeping, settlement. Fund administration, accounting and NAV stay with the people who do them today.
The register stops being plural
One record, read by the manager, the depositary, the distributor and the auditor at the same moment. Nothing to reconcile, because there is no second version to reconcile it against.
Settlement you set, not inherit
Bank transfer while that is what your operations run on, intraday when they are ready, digital delivery versus payment when your counterparties are.
The register becomes a channel
White-label rails for banks and platforms, individual investors through Moniflo, and access to various regulated secondary market exchanges for structures that want it.
First. And still the only one.
Investre is the first entity ever granted control agent status by the CSSF under Luxembourg's blockchain law IV, and remains the only holder of that authorisation. Native fund tokens can be issued, held and settled without a transfer agent or a CSD in the chain.
GRANTED IN LUXEMBOURG
Not another platform. The regulated backbone underneath one.
Most providers hold one stage of the route and hand the fund to someone else for the rest. Investre holds all of it, under its own authorisations.
Regulated in its own right
A CSSF-authorised investment firm under MiFID II and a licensed control agent under blockchain law IV. Every transaction runs inside the legal and audit standards the fund industry already relies on.
Built by fund operators
Founded in 2020 by Georges Bock, formerly Managing Partner at KPMG Luxembourg. Fund administration, banking and distributed ledger engineering in the same team.
Nothing to restructure
No new vehicle, no new licence, no re-issuance. An existing fund connects and keeps its legal register exactly where it is.
Running since 2024
Issuance, registry, safekeeping and settlement are live. Asset managers, banks, distributors and fund admins are onboarding onto the same infrastructure now.
Take the whole chain, or a single link.
Two CSSF authorisations cover every service below. A fund needs infrastructure at every point of its route, and Investre operates the whole route.
Control agent
Appointed control agent for native issuance, maintaining the issuance account and the register of on-chain securities.
The only CSSF-authorised control agent under blockchain law IV.
Order to settlement, with compliance checks in the flow rather than after it. Settle off-chain in fiat or on-chain against stablecoins and tokenised money market funds.
Individual or omnibus, embedded in your own product through the SDK, or bridged to the wallet infrastructure you already run.
From mirroring one share class to running a fully digital fund.
You decide how far to go, and you can move later. Every step is the same infrastructure and the same authorisations underneath.
Mirror an existing fund
Your legal register stays exactly where it is and Investre publishes a tokenised mirror of it on-chain. Reporting and reconciliation improve immediately, and nothing about the fund changes.
Issue natively
Investre acts as control agent for a digital-native share class, holds the shares in wallets and routes subscriptions with compliance checks in the flow. Cash still settles by bank transfer.
Run the whole thing on-chain
Orders, settlement and corporate actions all execute on-chain, with delivery versus payment against stablecoins or tokenised money market funds, and a route to regulated secondary trading when you want one.
Ownership has to sit somewhere. That somewhere is a wallet.
A tokenised share only exists in a wallet, so the wallet layer is not an accessory to fund infrastructure. It is part of it. Investre runs wallets as a regulated safekeeping function, with the governance, approval controls and audit trail an institution already expects from its custody chain.
One wallet per investor. Positions visible at investor level, with no nominee chain in between.
One wallet holding a distributor's whole book, with the underlying holdings aggregated behind it.
The law is already written, and your fund is probably already here.
In most jurisdictions tokenising a fund waits on a regime. In Luxembourg it waits on a decision.
A ledger entry is the register, not a copy of it
Blockchain law IV gives an entry on a distributed ledger the standing of the register it replaces. Once one record is authoritative, the copies held across intermediaries have nothing left to reconcile.
Someone is accountable, by name
The same law created the control agent: a licensed entity answerable to the CSSF for the on-chain register. Tokenisation stops being a technology choice and becomes a mandate somebody holds.
Your service providers are already here
Europe’s largest cross-border fund centre. The depositaries, distributors and auditors you work with operate under the same regime, so none of those relationships has to be renegotiated.
The first meeting, answered in advance.
The questions asset managers, banks and distributors ask in the first meeting.
All questions →What is a control agent?+
A CSSF-authorised role created under Luxembourg's blockchain law IV. The control agent creates and manages the on-chain units of a digital-native fund, maintains the issuance account and the register of on-chain securities, enforces the compliance rules and verifies the custody chain. Investre is the first and currently the only authorised control agent in Luxembourg.
Can an existing fund use Investre without restructuring?+
Yes. With non-native tokenisation the legal register stays where it is and Investre creates a tokenised mirror on-chain, adding transparency and automated reconciliation on top. No re-issuance, no new licence.
Which fund types are supported?+
UCITS share classes, ETFs and money market funds, alternative funds using a bulletin board for optional secondary liquidity, and securitisation vehicles. Same infrastructure, different use case per structure.
Is Investre a crypto company?+
No. Investre S.A. is a Luxembourg investment firm authorised by the CSSF under MiFID II, and a licensed control agent under blockchain law IV. It uses blockchain as market infrastructure, not as a speculative asset class.
How do investors get paid in and out?+
Either way. Settlement can stay off-chain in fiat, so nothing changes for the investor, or it can run on-chain against stablecoins or tokenised money market funds where both sides want delivery versus payment in one movement.

Every week: what changed in tokenisation, what it means for funds, and what to ignore. Written for people who run products rather than follow markets.

Every two weeks, a conversation with the managers, banks and regulators working out how tokenised funds actually operate. Recorded in Luxembourg, unscripted.
