Tokenised UCITS: Money Market Funds, Liquidity & Distribution | Investre
UCITS Managers
Tokenise your funds. From money market to any UCITS.
The regulated infrastructure to issue, distribute, and settle tokenised UCITS — money market funds, continuous liquidity, exchange distribution. Backed by two CSSF authorisations covering the whole chain, so you take all of it or a single link — you plug us in wherever you need.
SALES + REVIEW: logo wall reused from live site. Confirm each name is a permitted reference (logos ≠ named case studies). Keep as "trusted by," not "tokenisation clients."
Why Investre
Most tokenisation providers hand you a platform. We run the whole regulated chain.
Investre — a licensed operator
A CSSF-authorised investment firm and Luxembourg's first Control Agent. We run the full lifecycle under two authorisations, not a toolkit you have to make compliant yourself.
Control Agent licence (Blockchain IV) — native on-chain issuance
MiFID II investment-firm licence — order routing, custody, settlement, distribution
Take every segment, or just the one you need — the licences cover both
A typical platform
Software that issues a token and leaves the regulated functions — the register, custody, distribution, settlement — for you to assemble and answer for.
Single layer: token issuance
Compliance travels with a token standard, not a licence
You coordinate the administrator, custodian, and venue
POSITIONING (validated): mirrors how Securitize positions vs single-layer platforms ("consolidates transfer agent, custodian, broker-dealer, administrator into a single regulated stack — vertical integration is rare"). SACHA: confirm the four-function claim (issuance/register/custody/settlement) is fully accurate for Investre today; adjust any that are partial/roadmap.
The opportunity
Everything a UCITS needs to go on-chain
Tokenising a fund means rebuilding how it's issued, held, and moved — and doing it inside the rules that make UCITS trusted. Investre provides that infrastructure end to end, so you tokenise a money market fund, add continuous liquidity, or reach investors through regulated exchanges. Keep your current setup and providers, and plug us in on top or in place of the parts you choose.
Two authorisations. The whole chain. Every fund type.
What UCITS managers do with it
Three ways to modernise a UCITS
01
Exchange distribution
For broadening reach
Why it works — reach
Regulated digital asset exchanges now serve millions of verified investors. List a tokenised UCITS on one and you meet those investors where they already are — with the same protections as any other channel, not a step into speculative markets.
The correct setup
A tokenised UCITS (or ELTIF) listed on a regulated exchange — with MiFID II appropriateness and suitability checks embedded in onboarding, and the PRIIPs KID and prospectus surfaced at the point of access. The same investor protections as any regulated distributor.
Today an MMF share changes hands once a day, at the struck NAV, through the transfer agent. Tokenised natively, the share itself becomes mobile — settling intraday, posting as collateral, holding in fractional units — because ownership lives on the ledger, not in a once-a-day register.
The correct setup
A UCITS money market fund — a SICAV or FCP under the EU Money Market Funds Regulation (MMFR) — issued digital-native under Investre's Control Agent. The on-chain register is the authoritative record: no off-chain transfer-agent register to reconcile against. Eligibility and AML are enforced at token level; subscriptions and redemptions settle delivery-versus-payment.
Here the point isn't the share moving — it's price. ETFs reset what investors expect: a live, tradable price through the day. Connect market makers to the tokenised register and they quote continuously around NAV, delivering that same experience on your existing fund — without converting it to an ETF.
The correct setup
The fund register is tokenised and connected to one or more market makers quoting continuously around NAV. Investors trade a live secondary price; the fund's mandate, protections, and daily NAV strike are untouched underneath. It sits on top of your existing UCITS — keep your current structure and providers.
On-page capability — no separate guide
ETF-HEAVY CONTENT REWORKED: ETF framing confined to Block 03 only. THE "CORRECT SETUP" LINES DO THE COMPETENCE-PROOF JOB — verify specifics before publishing.FUND EXPERT: confirm "SICAV or FCP under MMFR"; decide whether to name CNAV/LVNAV/VNAV. CONFIRMED BY DECK (hedges removed): atomic DvP settlement and segregated/omnibus MiFID custody are stated in the internal deck, so copy now asserts them plainly. STILL FOR SACHA: (a) native "no off-chain register to reconcile" wording; (b) "posting as collateral" — deck doesn't confirm this, keep flagged as roadmap; (c) MiFID suitability/KID flow in Block 01.
Services & authorisations
Seven services. One regulated perimeter.
A tokenised fund needs regulated infrastructure at every step — like a train needing rails at every point of its route. Investre provides the entire journey or any single segment, and every segment is covered by one of our two CSSF authorisations. Because the licences cover the whole chain, you can keep your current setup and providers and plug us in on top, or in place of the parts you choose.

Going fully on-chain? Issuance runs under Investre's Control Agent licence — Luxembourg's first — so the register is natively on-chain with no off-chain duplicate to reconcile. Prefer a gradual path? Depending on the direction you take, you can keep much of your current structure and providers in place and layer tokenisation on top — we'll map the route that fits your fund.
SERVICES TABLE — sourced directly from the internal deck (image 1). Service→authorisation mapping (Control Agent / MiFID II sub-permissions) is as the deck states it. SACHA: confirm this exact licence-to-service mapping is publicly assertable — internal-deck wording ≠ automatically website-safe. 21X / SEPTEMBER: row 06 says "six MTFs, partners announced September" — deliberately unnamed per your call (21X signed but embargoed). ONE-LINE EDIT READY FOR SEPTEMBER LAUNCH: swap to "including 21X, a regulated DLT exchange." CORRECTED: re-issuance softened to "keep your setup/providers, plug in on top or in place of parts" — confirm accurate for native + mirror.
Why Luxembourg, why now
The only domicile with the whole chain
No other European domicile combines this distribution reach with a supervisor that has already licensed native on-chain issuance: four blockchain laws, the CSSF's Control Agent regime, and full UCITS passporting. Early movers help define how tokenised UCITS are traded — a durable advantage, not a one-off.

Tokenised UCITS with Market Makers
How market-maker quoting delivers continuous liquidity without converting to an ETF.
MARKETING: Sept-2025 exchange whitepaper has dated examples (BUIDL, Franklin, etc.). Fine as a gated download; refresh before active promotion.
Talk to us about your UCITS strategy.
Investre is a CSSF-authorised investment firm and Luxembourg's first licensed Control Agent — running the regulated infrastructure that makes tokenised UCITS work in production, not in pilot.
SALES: secondary CTA changed to "Get the technical brief" — meets the research-stage buyer (gathering ammunition) below the demo ask. Needs a brief to exist, or swap for "Talk to us." NEXT: objection-handling section ("what your stakeholders will ask") still to add — the other big vendor-eval gap.
